Short biographical information:
Liang Gong, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Vice Director of Department of Energy & Power Engineering, ASME member, IEEE member, AAAS member. He received the Ph.D. degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2011. He was with Georgia Institute of Technology as visiting scholar from 2008 to 2010. Currently, he is with China University of Petroleum (East China). His research interests mainly focus on fluid flow and thermal management in microsystem, multi-physics modelling of the transport phenomena in porous media, flow drag reduction and heat transfer enhancement. As a principle investigator, he has been responsible for eight projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), et al. He is the author/co-author of more than 60 journal and conference papers, is a guest editor of Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering, and is a peer reviewer of Scientific Reports, Energy, International Journal of Heat & Mass Transfer, Applied Thermal Engineering, Energy Conversion & Management, et al.
