Reeta Rani Singhania is a DBT- Bioscience Energy Overseas Fellow at Center for Advanced Bioenergy Research, IOCL R & D Faridabad, India. Dr. Reeta holds MSc (Biotechnology) from GG Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur and PhD in Bioetchnology from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Cochin, India. She has worked at NIIST in Trivandrum, India; EPFL at Lausanne in Switzerland as well as University Blaise Pascal at Clermont-Ferrand in France on Bioenergy. She has been involved actively in research on cellulase production from filamentous fungi for bioethanol applications. She has 31 publications in peer reviewed national and international journals and 19 book chapters along with several conference communications to her credit. She is the recipient of Elsevier best paper award in 2007, AuCBT/Excellence award of BRSI in 2008 and IFIBiop Young Scientist award for the year 2013. She has got best reviewer certificate from Bioresource Technology Journal for two years. She has served as guest editor of Renewable Energy journal for a special issue. She is an editorial board member of Biofuel Research Journal. She has more than 2400 citations and an h index of 19 in google scholar. She was invited at Groningen University, The Neitherlands, for Rosallind Franklin Fellowship interview. She has received prestigious ‘DBT- Energy Bioscience Overseas Fellowship’ by DBT to work on Bioenergy in India.
She is presently working on ‘Cellulase production and its scale-up for bioethanol applications.
